End O' March Holland Hack Fest
Dan Morrison from Collective Idea pulled together a hackfest in Holland on March 24th. It’s a little late posting… I know
Four of us showed up in all. We met at Butch’s in Holland. It was a great meeting spot, big tables that could be pulled together for all of our laptops.
Talk ranged from ruby, rails, web development all the way to vmware and ldap. Brandon who is holding is Nokia 770 (which runs linux as the factory default install) shed some light on pdas with linux. I’ve been looking for PDA’s at MTI for our development staff our sales team, but Microsoft isn’t my first choice. It was awesome to see a real-live PDA with linux working!! With Wireless!!
Below are some pictures from the gig, I’m not shown since I’m the one with the camera.

p.s. – thanks again Dan for the food and drink!
